Faux Fur Jackets + Graphic Tees

Hey, pooperdoops! This is going to be a real short and sweet post about my newest obsession...GRAPHIC TEES AND FANCY JACKETS. Remember when everyone had those god awful monkey tees in elementary school? You know, the ones that said "I don't have to be good because I'm cute," aka the shirts my mom never let me wear bc no matter how cute you are, ya still gotta be good. Well those shirts (and all of the hot topic t-shirts) left a real bad taste in my mouth about graphic tees--until now. In the past 4ish months, I have bought TWO graphic tees. This is wild for me but after styling them up a bit, I started to really dig the look. In reality, it's such a lazy look but somehow it can still come across as cute. In my NYC Street Style post, I paired a Molly Green "you give me fireworks" tee with a Tribe Kelley smock dress that I cut in half and a pair of Lucky Brand joggers, it was a great time. But NOW, I have graduated onto a more sophisticated look---a graphic tee with a /faux/ fur jacket. Pairing the laziest of the lazy day shirt with a jacket that reminds me of fancy shmancy events with long dresses and champagne. I think it's such a fun look because it dresses up the t-shirt significantly (or does it dress down the jacket???) and you can get away with wearing it just about anywhere! I know this post isn't about plain tees, but I think faux fur jackets look bomb with neutral, solid color outfits, too.

Details:
T-shirt: American Eagle a hot minute ago
Jeans: Not sure the exact pair, but these are essentially the same
Jacket: Bought it from Burkes Outlet for $20 (not available online) but this one is similar and really good quality!

What styles do you love now that you used to hate? Let me know in the comments!!!
