My Early Morning Go-To Makeup Routine

Hey hi hello. It is officially midterm season…and I am stressed as heck. I technically only have one actual midterm, but we have hit the point in the semester where everything is happening all at once and I am just STRESSED, ya know?

So. I am going to share my easy ass makeup look with you guys, because on school days I literally can’t be bothered to put myself together. After getting sick way too often, I have finally realized how important and necessary sleep is for me; if I woke up early enough to do everything I want to do in the morning, I would die. I am also realizing that I have the immune system of a 90 year-old woman and that I realllllllly need to take care of myself better :-) yay for adulting and self realization.

ANYWHO. I definitely wear more makeup than this when I’m going out-out, but these are my go-to products for a simple and natural look!

  1. to begin, I use the mario badescu cucumber spray to prep my face and wake up!

  2. I always always ALWAYS moisturize after. on days where I don’t feel the need to dress up, I use moisturizer as my base instead of foundation.

  3. right now I’m really into maybelline’s fit me powder. I typically use the mattifying powder, but I’m really intrigued by their loose powder. throughout high school, I used bare minerals and maybelline’s is really comparable!

  4. I am super picky about my lashes, so I alternate between taste’s tarteist lash paint mascara and maybelline’s volum’ express the rocket mascara. I have found that alternating between two different types helps my lashes stay longer and less clumpier!

  5. e.l.f. eyebrow pencils are SO UNDER-RATED. I’m on a college budget, but like if I ever become a millionaire I’ll still be using this.

  6. on casual days, I use a teensy bit of the darker shades in the anastasia contour powder on parts of my forehead and cheek bones (does that make sense? is that even how you’re supposed to use it ?? idk)

  7. I LOVE tarte blush. tarte all the way.

  8. lastly, I use two different shades of nyx concealer. to cover blemishes, I use the shade that matches my skin tone and then I use a lighter shade under my eyes!

So there ya have it, my most simple everyday, natural looking go-to makeup routine!
