Postponing Our Wedding -- Now What?

May 2, 2021 was going to be our most special day.

Since Peyton proposed, we have been thinking non-stop about how to make our wedding fun for all of our closest friends and family. We aren’t inviting too many, but we want to make it a genuinely good time for everyone who attends. Because of that and, you know, the fact that so many people are dying daily due to the global pandemic, we are postponing our wedding. Selfishly, it’s so important to us that we are able to spend time with our people without being paranoid about getting sick/getting someone else sick.

We are sending out save-the-dates-with-no-dates/New Year’s cards this year so we went to Chattanooga for a fun little photo shoot. We felt like we had just gotten engaged all over again!

At this point, we are hoping and praying 2022 will be our year. I will still be posting more wedding content as we have already put so much work into the wedding. I can’t wait to share about my wedding dress shopping experiences for my Nashville girls — there’s just something about trying on a white dress that gives you alllllll the butterflies.
